Etude House: Eraser Show Cleansing Serum [Review]

Hello lovely person~!
I hope your day is going well! Anyways, after visiting the Etude House store on a weekly basis because of work, I was starting to get weary of their products since of course the store is not updated on a daily basis, so I've seen lots of the same products..lots of times haha.
But I happened to see this product for the first time and I was a bit excited!..hesitant but excited! But for only about $7 who wouldn't be excited!
no makeup!

Eraser Show Cleansing Serum!
They also had a similar product but specifically meant for the eyes and eyelashes, but this product said it can remove eye makeup so then I just decided to get this one item >w<!

Eraser Show Cleansing Serum Description:
Infused with Argan Oil and Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, this serum-like cleanser soothes and moisturizes skin while melting away all makeup, including eye makeup, leaving skin soft, and feeling refreshed and clean.

Instructions:
☆ Massage onto dry skin, including eye area
☆Rinse well with warm water

little nozzle! cute~!

I was a bit hesitant to try this product. When I tried the baking powder cleanser, which is supposed to get off all makeup, it couldn't get my eyeliner off, so I was worried about that. Also when I usually take off my makeup, I just use olive oil - like Michelle Phan hehe >w< - and the olive oil already works really well for me, so I was a little doubtful that this product could do better - but I was shocked!

Here, I was using dolly wink eyeliner and then used the serum to get it off, then washed with warm water. The texture of the serum is almost the same as using olive oil, so it more so felt like I was trying to wash oil off my hand. But when I took my hand out of the water and dried it, it was sooooooo soft!

**yeah I kind of have a rash on my face after an allergic reaction to a topical medicine><

What I'm wearing:
Maybelline Lasting Drama Eyeliner
Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream
Too Faced Natural Face Palette
Benefit They're Real Mascara
Urban Decay Primer & Eyeshadows

I didn't need much product to cover my face and get my makeup off, and that was great! As I said before, it felt a lot like olive oil being put on my face, except the smell was way better! The smell kind of reminds me of like the Vaseline cream smell, which is good >w< But after a few seconds of rubbing, I was so surprised how fast my mascara and eyeliner came off! It usually never comes off so fast, even when I use olive oil! And after washing, my skin felt so incredibly soft! like baby skin! I will definitely be recommending this product to others hehe >w<!

So~ in Summary~

♡Likes♡
nice smell, pretty subtle
very gentle on skin
gets off all makeup
skin is very soft after

Dislikes
oily feeling

Thanks for reading!♡Hope this was helpful!

Etude House: Baking Powder B.B Deep Cleansing Foam

Hello there!
I was recently in need of a new face wash because I ran out >w<!
I used to use the Clearasil foam face wash which was great, but I felt like my skin was getting used to it, so time for a change!
byebye clearasil!

Hello Etude House!
I decided to use Etude House's foam wash after having a good experience with their foam pore cleanser ^_^ ! Also this was cheap and apparently really popular at the Plaza store so I decided to try~

The 'foam' comes out as white and has little beads in it to help exfoliate and remove dead skin ^^
It has like an orange-ish citrusy smell which is not too strong
I like that the beads are not too harsh on the skin because my skin is sensitive and I tried a wash where the beads were too strong and it ended up making my skin worse x_x

After my first wash I was incredible surprised! my skin was brighter and my pores were smaller! I wasn't expecting much since the wash was so cheap but wow I had amazing results!
I now use this wash twice a day (morning & night) and follow with a moisturizer lotion.
Since this does perhaps take off some layers in order to clean, then it's important to moisturize. It also gets off most of my makeup - which is the purpose of it - but not all..it couldn't get my maybelline eyeliner off, but it could get everything else off!

In Summary~

♡Likes♡
nice smell
exfoliates
brighter skin
smaller pores
skin feels incredibly clean

Dislikes
doesn't get all makeup off

Etude House: Rosy Tint Lips #03 & #04 [Review]

Hello there~!

I absolutely love lip tints! And I always buy them haha >w<!
so after reading some reviews, I decided to try the Etude House: Rosy Lip Tints!

using #3

left to right: #3 & #4 (Sweet Poison?)

#03
dotted, slightly spread, slightly padded

#04
dotted, slightly spread, slightly padded

Like all the other reviews I've read, the tube is VERY hard to squeeze which makes it a little frustrating to use, but I absolutely love the color and smell! I love anything that has a nice rose smell ^_^ also I like the direct application..as much as I like other liquid tints with wands, having a direct way to use is much more easier for me.
Another problem I had was the tube's sponge - it can easily collect a lot of bacteria so that made me a bit uneasy to buy the lip tint >< also when wiping off the lip tint as I usually do so it doesn't get on my food and utensils, the color is very light, almost unnoticeable on my lips TwT Also the matte finish somehow highlights the dry parts of my lips..so before application I have to put a colorless lip balm

But other than that I do like this product a lot, also there are nice colors to choose from :)

In Summary~

♡Likes♡
unique design
cute colors to choose from
matte finish
nice smell
easy to apply

Dislikes
hard to squeeze
highlights dry areas

Have you tried this product? What do you think about it?

If not, would you be willing to purchase it?

Let me know in the comments~!

Thanks for reading!
Have a happy day ^_^

Etude House: Plumping Lip Tint #1 Red & Job's Tears W Patch [Review]

Aloha my cuties~!
Hope you are well ^_^

So lately, I have been OBSESSED with lip plumping things because if I smile too big, my upper lip gets soooo thin it looks really weird >____< so I wanted to find lip plumping lipsticks/stains/etc :)

I went to Etude House to just see if they had anything:
I found a Plumping Lip Tint :))

it kind of reminds of their old lip stains in the same type of packaging

the smell:
omg it was so terrible >< usually Etude House products have this cute, light sweet smell...but this one..omg I gagged a little >< has anyone had liquid medicine that was either "cherry" or "bubblegum" flavour?? but it made you want to gag every time you had to take it ><
that very potent fruity smell was in the gloss ughhh

it has a straight wand
very cut and glossy

There isn't much of a lip plumping factor I think...the gloss also gives a very cooling sensation..I thought that was pretty neat :)

Overall I would rate this

2/5

the gloss didn't last very long at all and I reaaally couldn't stand the smell >< also the lip plumping part that it is marketed as..wasn't really there..so I'm definitely not buying this again..nor do I recommend it >____<

Since the lip plumping tint was really cheap, I decided to also get their little face patches :) I am also interested in getting more collagen or cooling/calming things for my eye baggies >< but instead I decided to get this since they didn't have anything much for under eye baggies :) The patch is supposed to make your skin more bright and less dull, and sooth irritated skin
Directions:
Remove patch from pouch and remove white film
place patch over nose and cheeks and remove blue film
Leave patch for 10-20 min

The patch smelled heavily of alcohol >__< so I was really scared to put it on my skin..the mask felt ok, it was really..watery and slippery but cooling, I left it on for 15 min and my skin felt clean :) so I guess thats good! However not much of a difference in my skin after taking off the patch nor the next morning..

It is definitely fun to try masks and these types of patches for the skin sometimes ^__^ but the smell was quite strong and I didn't care for it >__< also I do not think it was effective at all :((

Etude House: Magic Bubble O2 Water Peeling Pack [Review]

Hello!
From a recent purchase of their Shining Dream Holiday Nails set
I got tons of samples from Etude House:)!
One of them was the Magic Bubble O2 Water Peeling Pack!

they gave me 3 ~! so generous ^_^ thats why I love Etude House!

I don't really know much of Etude House's skin care lines so this will be fun!

The peeling pack comes out as a colorless liquidy-gel texture with a light floral scent
the scent reminds me of a hand soap..I forgot the name, but its nice :) not too strong

The instructions are to massage product on to the face after wetting with water
and to leave for about 3 min to wait till bubbles appear, then after wash off :)

The product is supposed to lighten and exfoliate :)
I was really expecting an actual peel mask haha, but this was fun too
I could feel and hear all the bubbles, it was really fun haha!

As cute as this product was, and how great the smell was..my skin felt extremely dry after use, and I don't think the lighting was as noticeable..at least for me haha. My skin did feel pretty smooth..but like I said..pretty dry after..

Etude House: Shining Dream Nails Set - Delight Holiday [Review]

Aloha my lovelies!
So if you remember my review from last year:
You'll basically see the same set up: 3 color nail polishes, that you need to layer 3 times...
...
Etude House basically did a reprise of their "Christmas Miracle" nails, repackaged them into SLIGHTLY different sets, then changed the name haha
It's a smart business move nonetheless, but looking at the sets...
(when I went there was one other set which was a dark blue with silver glitter tips)
they weren't that impressive, and since I already had a blue themed nail set from them I decided to get the more festive look..I think my friend bought the same multicolored polish last year actually haha!
But anyway, in the Delight Holiday set comes three colors:
gold (Delight Gold) , red (Delight Deep Red) , and green&red (Delight Red&Green Pearl)

Considering it's Etude House, the packaging is absolutely adorable!
The little house idea is soo cute! since I've never seen any other brand do this I was so excited when I saw it!...before I analyzed the contents haha!
(not saying the contents are bad..just not that impressed
with the color choices since they are too similar to last years line)
but they did include stickers which was cool!...but again their other sets have that...

a little side note: for those who have read some of my other reviews..and know a little about me, you'll notice that even though I live in Japan right now, I still buy tons of korean makeup...esp. Etude House...if you're asking why..well..it's because the Etude House store gives SO MANY samples! And I can't help but go back whenever I'm in the area! I love korean brands because they give tons of samples! (kind of like sephora!) not many japanese stores do that...partly because most brands rely on drug stores to do most of their selling and they don't really have their own store.. i think ...

ok! enough of my blabbing *sorry* >__<!!!
on to the review!!!

Etude House's new bag! sooo cute!

Packaging for the Shining Dream holiday nails :)
veeeryy cute! I love the house theme! the unique, adorable packaging
totally makes up for the color choices!
contents: 3 nail polishes and a silver sticker sheet! very cute :)

close up of the stickers!

(please ignore my terrible painting skills xwx!! i didn't have q-tips with me at the time to clean!)
I was so surprised by the thickness of the polish!
I thought the color would be similar to last years, I think I remember having to use about 5 or 6 coats!
this one is only 3!! I'm greatly impressed! Etude is stepping uppp!!! >w<!
the dark red reminds me of the red part of a candy cane haha!

since I was thinking about last years set of christmas nails, I thought the second coating (the gold)
would also need more than 3 or 4 coats of polish! I was soo wrong, I only needed one or 2, the gold was very thick, so much glitter x_x! so I messed up on my first two nails haha!
1: my thumb, when I first tested how thick the polish is, first coat
2: my index finger when I made sure to put a VERY light coat
3: index and middle finger after a VERY light first coat
4: all fingers except thumb with very light first coat
5: all fingers except thumb with a very light second coat!

be careful about that gold >w< very thick! but thats good :))

1 coat of the green&red mix polish :), I think I used two coats..but I didn't take a second pic >< sorry!
I even put a cute sticker >w<!!! but even with two top coats..the sticker fell off after the next day or two ><

finally after letting everything dry and getting off the excess:

finished nails :)) I like em!

The house shape box is too adorable!!! and ofc the cute art and girly style is also very cute!

for less than $10 this is a great buy! I really love etude house for their cheap and cute products!

since I was expecting the same troublesome nail polish as last year I was so surprised and happy to find out that Etude House has greatly improved the quality on this polish :)

I think even though the colors were nothing new, the quality of the product was so great! And definitely worth trying out if you have the time! would definitely recommend :))

Thanks for reading ♡ mahalo to you !

if you like the review please follow the blog for more :)) thank you!

Etude House: Drawing Show Creamy Liner [Review]

Hello lovelies~!
Today I want to review the Etude House: Drawing Show Creamy Liner!
I have used this product for a long while now actually, and I looove it!
I think it was around $10-$15?? I forgot the price ><
but I think it is comparable to Maybelline's Eyestudio gel liner collection.

The liner I bought is
#BK802

I really love that the product has a more dryer and I guess I would say matte look.
I tried Clinique's gel liner too and it was quite watery and sheen so it would come off easily :(

I really love matte type gel liners because they last through a lot and don't come off easily!
so I always use gel liners that are like that, also they are very dark :) a big plus!

The Etude liner is very similar to the Maybelline's Eyestudio gel liner..but they give a lot more!
Also I really love the brush that came with it! The brush has a cap so it becomes cute and compact, and putting it back in my bag is no problem, and I don't have to worry about the liner smudging on things it is not supposed to!

The only thing I don't really like about this product is that it doesn't last too long (maybe 2-4 hrs?) I don't really like re-applying makeup because I'm busy and don't really have the time to do touch-ups, also because I'm lazy (hehe), so I prefer products that last a super SUPER long time. I never had to touch up or re-apply for Maybelline's Eyestudio gel liner, but considering it's at least double the price here in Japan, I tend to stay away from it. So I think the Etude liner is good, for short occasions, or for people whom are used to re-applying and doing touch ups :) LOVE everything else about the liner tho!

Brush Tip - normal brush for gel liners
easy to use :) love it!

The cute compact style!
just absolutely love it!
more eyeliner brushes should be like this >w<!

Been using this for about a month now

Left: clinique
Right: Etude
can you see the diff??
the clinique one is a bit more..shiny I guess?
so more liquidy ...the etude one is a bit more dull
so more "matte" I guess you could say
matte liners are much easier to work with imo!

test swipe :)
look at that dramatic black!

after lining the eyes
(oh them dark circles =.=;;)

Despite the few things I didn't like about this product, I do like it, and considering they give so much at such a fair price..but I get panda eyes from it after about 3 hrs ><

Etude House: Dear Darling Tint #02 Real Red [Review]

Hello lovely readers~!  Today I want to do a review of Etude House's Dear Darling Tint
I was a little apprehensive about buying an Etude House tint since their first tint (I totally forgot the name lol)..the first tint was the cylinder bottle? yeah I didn't like that one because the color did not stay very well so it was a worthless buy imo. But since this was so cheap (500yen) I decided to try it out!
That's what I really love about Etude House, the products are cheap, cute packaging, and decent quality! And I must say, I absolutely LOVE this tint! A warning tho, it does not work well with lip concealer..I tried but the tint ending up doing really weird things. Y'know when you try to write on glossy tape?? the ink gets weird..same thing happened when I tried to use this tint with lip concealer..!

-ok it has been 3 hours and WOW this is still on!!!-
happy happy >w<
Cute and simple as expected of Etude House<3

my lips nothing on them

the new wand is angled! so great!
just like the tony moly tints!
i think an angled brush is easier to use for lips
Etude House' first lip tint's wand was straight, cute but i didn't like it

one coat, just painted - super super red!

wiped of so we can see the staining power!

after 30min

considering i had my doubts about this product since their first lip tint wasn't so great (I had cherry because I oh so admire red lips!)....this was a great update to their lip tints!!! So happy I've had no problems with this! (besides the lip concealer part, but I don't wear lip concealer too often so no worries there haha). Considering red lips is IN this fall and winter season here in Japan, I plan to wear this as often as I can hehe and at only 500yen! This product deserves

As always, thank you so very much for reading~!

Etude House: Christmas Miracle Nails! [Review]

Helloo~!~! so a week or so ago I did the Mint Frappe Nail review from etude house, well I was so happy about the outcome, I wanted to try another set of 3 colors from Etude :) so, in the spirit of christmas, I bought this! it was about 700yen which is pretty prices

so the silver and pink are for the tips
or well you can use it however you want but I used the silver and pink (the two on the left and middle) for the tips of my nails and the baby pink (the one on the right) for the bottom part

1 layer of the baby pink - so light!

after about 4 layers
SO PINK!

with silver :)

silverrr

with pink

the pink is actually very subtle and pretty much blends in with the baby pink for some reason!

this was super fun! i really love doing my nails :) I have gotten a lot more compliments for the silver tips than the pink tips though haha, I want to buy a sheer-ish white nail polish and have that with the silver tips, that would be nice wouldn't it?

well anyway, this was just like the Mint Frappe Nails, with the 3 steps which is pretty cool :) it was a lot of fun, what I really like is that there are so many possibilities for the kind of design and style you want to do, I don't think it was worth 700yen but I guess since it's christmas that's the only reason the price was so high :)

so all in all I really liked this ~!~!~!~! I hope to get another set..haha maybe....
