Etude House: Eraser Show Cleansing Serum [Review]

Hello lovely person~!
I hope your day is going well! Anyways, after visiting the Etude House store on a weekly basis because of work, I was starting to get weary of their products since of course the store is not updated on a daily basis, so I've seen lots of the same products..lots of times haha.
But I happened to see this product for the first time and I was a bit excited!..hesitant but excited! But for only about $7 who wouldn't be excited!
no makeup!

Eraser Show Cleansing Serum!
They also had a similar product but specifically meant for the eyes and eyelashes, but this product said it can remove eye makeup so then I just decided to get this one item >w<!

Eraser Show Cleansing Serum Description:
Infused with Argan Oil and Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, this serum-like cleanser soothes and moisturizes skin while melting away all makeup, including eye makeup, leaving skin soft, and feeling refreshed and clean.

Instructions:
☆ Massage onto dry skin, including eye area
☆Rinse well with warm water

little nozzle! cute~!

I was a bit hesitant to try this product. When I tried the baking powder cleanser, which is supposed to get off all makeup, it couldn't get my eyeliner off, so I was worried about that. Also when I usually take off my makeup, I just use olive oil - like Michelle Phan hehe >w< - and the olive oil already works really well for me, so I was a little doubtful that this product could do better - but I was shocked!

Here, I was using dolly wink eyeliner and then used the serum to get it off, then washed with warm water. The texture of the serum is almost the same as using olive oil, so it more so felt like I was trying to wash oil off my hand. But when I took my hand out of the water and dried it, it was sooooooo soft!

**yeah I kind of have a rash on my face after an allergic reaction to a topical medicine><

What I'm wearing:
Maybelline Lasting Drama Eyeliner
Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream
Too Faced Natural Face Palette
Benefit They're Real Mascara
Urban Decay Primer & Eyeshadows

I didn't need much product to cover my face and get my makeup off, and that was great! As I said before, it felt a lot like olive oil being put on my face, except the smell was way better! The smell kind of reminds me of like the Vaseline cream smell, which is good >w< But after a few seconds of rubbing, I was so surprised how fast my mascara and eyeliner came off! It usually never comes off so fast, even when I use olive oil! And after washing, my skin felt so incredibly soft! like baby skin! I will definitely be recommending this product to others hehe >w<!

So~ in Summary~

♡Likes♡
nice smell, pretty subtle
very gentle on skin
gets off all makeup
skin is very soft after

Dislikes
oily feeling

Thanks for reading!♡Hope this was helpful!

Etude House: Baking Powder B.B Deep Cleansing Foam

Hello there!
I was recently in need of a new face wash because I ran out >w<!
I used to use the Clearasil foam face wash which was great, but I felt like my skin was getting used to it, so time for a change!
byebye clearasil!

Hello Etude House!
I decided to use Etude House's foam wash after having a good experience with their foam pore cleanser ^_^ ! Also this was cheap and apparently really popular at the Plaza store so I decided to try~

The 'foam' comes out as white and has little beads in it to help exfoliate and remove dead skin ^^
It has like an orange-ish citrusy smell which is not too strong
I like that the beads are not too harsh on the skin because my skin is sensitive and I tried a wash where the beads were too strong and it ended up making my skin worse x_x

After my first wash I was incredible surprised! my skin was brighter and my pores were smaller! I wasn't expecting much since the wash was so cheap but wow I had amazing results!
I now use this wash twice a day (morning & night) and follow with a moisturizer lotion.
Since this does perhaps take off some layers in order to clean, then it's important to moisturize. It also gets off most of my makeup - which is the purpose of it - but not all..it couldn't get my maybelline eyeliner off, but it could get everything else off!

In Summary~

♡Likes♡
nice smell
exfoliates
brighter skin
smaller pores
skin feels incredibly clean

Dislikes
doesn't get all makeup off

Rice Water for Great Skin!

Aloha cute pie~!
Thanks for visiting my blog ^__^!

Today I want to share something I like using as a fun and VERY effective mask !
I use this mask at least once a week :)

I originally had it on my japanese blog, but I wanted to discuss it here too!

I was inspired to do this after reading about how some actresses use rice water to keep their skin very pretty! So I decided I would try it too. I use to just use rice water to use as a face wash..but then I started using it as a mask and I like that better :)

I used Michelle Phan's idea of the cotton mask :) instead of using the skin conditioner, I decided to use rice water, which works perfectly !

I do this every time I make rice haha! since it doesn't really cost money and it's so easy to do! My skin feels so great after :) ! I usually do this right before I go to bed so I can get all the benefits of rice water overnight! oh! and I leave the mask on for about 15-20 min ^__^

thanks for reading!
don't forget to follow/subscribe to the blog to get regular updates ^_^

Etude House: Magic Bubble O2 Water Peeling Pack [Review]

Hello!
From a recent purchase of their Shining Dream Holiday Nails set
I got tons of samples from Etude House:)!
One of them was the Magic Bubble O2 Water Peeling Pack!

they gave me 3 ~! so generous ^_^ thats why I love Etude House!

I don't really know much of Etude House's skin care lines so this will be fun!

The peeling pack comes out as a colorless liquidy-gel texture with a light floral scent
the scent reminds me of a hand soap..I forgot the name, but its nice :) not too strong

The instructions are to massage product on to the face after wetting with water
and to leave for about 3 min to wait till bubbles appear, then after wash off :)

The product is supposed to lighten and exfoliate :)
I was really expecting an actual peel mask haha, but this was fun too
I could feel and hear all the bubbles, it was really fun haha!

As cute as this product was, and how great the smell was..my skin felt extremely dry after use, and I don't think the lighting was as noticeable..at least for me haha. My skin did feel pretty smooth..but like I said..pretty dry after..

Tony Moly Dual Effect Sleeping Pack Intense Repair [Review]

Aloha my lovelies~! I just wanted to share this product I absolutely LOVE~! It is Tony Moly's Dual Effect Sleeping Pack Intense Repair!! I absolutely love this product! I've been using it for a few weeks and so far I like it :) ! My skin is smoother and softer and the wrinkles on my neck and my laugh lines have somewhat improved! I wish I had before and after pictures but sadly there is none :( sorry

What does it do?
This dual functional sleeping pack contains a wrinkle-improving functional ingredient of adenosine and a skin-whitening functional ingredient of arbutin. It makes dull, sagging, and wrinkled skin young and healthy again.

Instructions
After evening cleansing, apply an appropriate amount along the skin texture around the face and neck area and gently pat to absorb. This should be the last stage in your skin care process. Rinse off with lukewarm water in the morning. Recommended 1-2 nights a week only~!~!~!~!

Cover

It's a pump :)

skin pre-applied

It's very creamy~! since it's summer time and it's REALLY HOT in Hawai'i, I tend to put a smaller and thinner amount on my face, when I move to Japan and come winter time I will probably add more since I need the moisture so my skin doesn't crack haha x3 Did you know your skin care line does not have to change between winter and summer? Ask Dr.Oz haha!

applying~!

post apply~! It's very light and the fragrance (in my opinion) is very subtle, and very nice :) I feel like this sleeping mask really holds in all my skin care products (since this is supposed to be the last step in your skin care routine)

Well I LOVE everything about this product, I think it's good for 1-2 times a week, the smell and the texture I really love all of it! I would definitely recommend this! I love that DUAL effect! Anti-wrinkle AND whitening :)

Sugaring ? [Review]

If you read the title and thought this post was going to be about desserts or baking...don't be discouraged! I did too haha (when I first heard of this concept) ! I just recently learned about the concept of "Sugaring" which is basically a different method of hair removal but yet similar to waxing..I really want to try the homemade method of Sugaring since it's so cheap, easy, and I heard that it is not as painful as waxing! I looked up many different websites to look for the recipe and most of them said the same thing so I'm going to go with this recipe:

Ingredients
2 Cups White Sugar
1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
1/4 Cup Water

Simple Enough Right?

Cooking Instructions

So I ended up making the gel..and no matter how hard I tried I just could not get the paste to work....
but I think the gel is easier, it's so very close to waxing - using wax strips like denim or muslin kind, but the best part about the sugaring? You can re-wash the denim or muslin strips to use again!!!...Sounds weird yes but it's just sugar, lemon, and water right? ANDDD you save money!
TIP!
If you are going to use an actual lemon (instead of lemon juice from a bottle) then use a strainer

So first things first! MIX EVERYTHING!

**should've mixed everything in the pot I used to boil everything in....:P
welp...
NEXT! - Boil & Simmer
So the instructions on about.com weren't very clear...so I made the pot get to a boil on med-high then turned the heat low so it could simmer, the about.com instructions said to let it simmer for about 25 min and wait till it changed to an amber color..but I had to wait about 35 min..so i don't think the timer was needed...

Looks about done!
Let it cool for about 10 min!!!

Then place in container to continue cool down process :)

amber ~!

READY TO WAX SUGAR!
**the about.com website suggested using talcum powder or cornstarch and applying it on the area you are about to wax, but I tried with and without cornstarch on my arm and legs and both ways brought the same result so it either doesn't matter or everyone is different I guess :/ ?

wax strip from leg! look at the hair!

leg after the sugaring!
