Etude House: Eraser Show Cleansing Serum [Review]

Hello lovely person~!
I hope your day is going well! Anyways, after visiting the Etude House store on a weekly basis because of work, I was starting to get weary of their products since of course the store is not updated on a daily basis, so I've seen lots of the same products..lots of times haha.
But I happened to see this product for the first time and I was a bit excited!..hesitant but excited! But for only about $7 who wouldn't be excited!
no makeup!

Eraser Show Cleansing Serum!
They also had a similar product but specifically meant for the eyes and eyelashes, but this product said it can remove eye makeup so then I just decided to get this one item >w<!

Eraser Show Cleansing Serum Description:
Infused with Argan Oil and Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, this serum-like cleanser soothes and moisturizes skin while melting away all makeup, including eye makeup, leaving skin soft, and feeling refreshed and clean.

Instructions:
☆ Massage onto dry skin, including eye area
☆Rinse well with warm water

little nozzle! cute~!

I was a bit hesitant to try this product. When I tried the baking powder cleanser, which is supposed to get off all makeup, it couldn't get my eyeliner off, so I was worried about that. Also when I usually take off my makeup, I just use olive oil - like Michelle Phan hehe >w< - and the olive oil already works really well for me, so I was a little doubtful that this product could do better - but I was shocked!

Here, I was using dolly wink eyeliner and then used the serum to get it off, then washed with warm water. The texture of the serum is almost the same as using olive oil, so it more so felt like I was trying to wash oil off my hand. But when I took my hand out of the water and dried it, it was sooooooo soft!

**yeah I kind of have a rash on my face after an allergic reaction to a topical medicine><

What I'm wearing:
Maybelline Lasting Drama Eyeliner
Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream
Too Faced Natural Face Palette
Benefit They're Real Mascara
Urban Decay Primer & Eyeshadows

I didn't need much product to cover my face and get my makeup off, and that was great! As I said before, it felt a lot like olive oil being put on my face, except the smell was way better! The smell kind of reminds me of like the Vaseline cream smell, which is good >w< But after a few seconds of rubbing, I was so surprised how fast my mascara and eyeliner came off! It usually never comes off so fast, even when I use olive oil! And after washing, my skin felt so incredibly soft! like baby skin! I will definitely be recommending this product to others hehe >w<!

So~ in Summary~

♡Likes♡
nice smell, pretty subtle
very gentle on skin
gets off all makeup
skin is very soft after

Dislikes
oily feeling

Thanks for reading!♡Hope this was helpful!

DIY Mask for Damaged Hair & Split Ends!

Hello cutie~^__^
If you didn't know, my hair has some major damage from a digi perm I did last year...then I recently dyed it..so my hair has lots of damage and is pretty dry, especially the ends of my hair! It was really bad until I tried the egg hair mask a few days ago, but of course a mask that has been used only once isn't going to solve everything - but that would be great wouldn't it! >w<!
So I had to do more research for DIY/homemade treatments for hair~ I found a great idea on all women's stalk! The mask is to treat dry hair and split ends~

Basically the mask calls for:
☆2 tablespoons of honey
☆1 tablespoon of almond oil
☆1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar

**double this if you have long hair

Instructions:
☆mix all ingredients in a bowl
☆ apply to damp hair and massage, focusing on the ends, and all damaged parts
☆ let sit for about 30 min (or more) rinse off with shampoo~

Of course this won't perfectly get rid of all your split ends and damaged hair, but it would help^_^
all these products I just bought at the local grocery store ^^

So why does this work?

☆Why Honey?☆
honey is a humectant -it helps to retain moister-, and also an emollient  -it softens and smoothes-. It is also packed full of vitamins and minerals to help your hair look healthy and shiny~! I've also heard it can lighten your hair~ so you can get a healthy dye - lols!

☆WhyAlmond Oil?☆
Almond oil/sweet almond oil can be used to help your hair grow and look shiny too! It is helpful for conditioning your hair and skin. Almond oil is packed with lots of nutrients to help grow strong hair~ it also prevents breakage in your hair! You can even use almond oil by itself by putting a few drops of it into your hands and put it directly on your hair for a shinier look!

☆Why Apple Cider Vinegar?☆
Apple cider vinegar can help a dry scalp and make your hair shine! Apple cider vinegar actually has a lot of beauty benefits like whiter teeth, body detox, good skin, etc.! It balances the pH in your scalp (can do the same for your skin), removes product buildup, treat dandruff, and other awesome things!

After using the mask, my hair was so shiny! and soft! I also noticed the decrease in damaged hair, I was so happy and surprised! The only thing I didn't like was the apple cider vinegar smell (vinegar scent makes me cringe - bleh!) But that smell went away the next day so it's not a major problem^^
this mask was so great and easy to do, I think I'd definitely do it again!

Etude House: Baking Powder B.B Deep Cleansing Foam

Hello there!
I was recently in need of a new face wash because I ran out >w<!
I used to use the Clearasil foam face wash which was great, but I felt like my skin was getting used to it, so time for a change!
byebye clearasil!

Hello Etude House!
I decided to use Etude House's foam wash after having a good experience with their foam pore cleanser ^_^ ! Also this was cheap and apparently really popular at the Plaza store so I decided to try~

The 'foam' comes out as white and has little beads in it to help exfoliate and remove dead skin ^^
It has like an orange-ish citrusy smell which is not too strong
I like that the beads are not too harsh on the skin because my skin is sensitive and I tried a wash where the beads were too strong and it ended up making my skin worse x_x

After my first wash I was incredible surprised! my skin was brighter and my pores were smaller! I wasn't expecting much since the wash was so cheap but wow I had amazing results!
I now use this wash twice a day (morning & night) and follow with a moisturizer lotion.
Since this does perhaps take off some layers in order to clean, then it's important to moisturize. It also gets off most of my makeup - which is the purpose of it - but not all..it couldn't get my maybelline eyeliner off, but it could get everything else off!

In Summary~

♡Likes♡
nice smell
exfoliates
brighter skin
smaller pores
skin feels incredibly clean

Dislikes
doesn't get all makeup off

Koji Dolly Wink by Tsubasa Masuwaka - Eyelashes #10 Sweet Cat [Review]

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog today!
I don't usually wear fake lashes ..but when I do..it doesn't turn out well...
**but that doesn't stop me from buying more hehe**

lately i've been growing more and more interested in natural looking eye lashes~
so I decided to try out these lashes ^_^ they're quite long, but it looks natural to me

very cute packaging! I'd expect nothing less from Tsubasa ^__^

very cute circle lens and eyelash combo~!

The lashes are so very soft! they feel almost real! I really like how real they feel and look!
I also really like that the lashes are  longer and more concentrated at the ends to make the eyes look bigger ^_^ they make my eyes look so big and I don't even have to use lenses! I actually never noticed how much fake eyelashes would accentuate the eyes! O,O ~! woohoo

The glue that came with the lashes is actually really good!

Here is what the lashes look like - sorry the picture is blurry x_x

Anyway~ in Summary~

♡Likes♡
natural texture - so soft!
very natural looking
long ~!
makes the eyes look bigger
glue that comes with it is great!

Have you ever tried Dolly Wink Eyelashes? What do you think of them?
If not, would you like to try?

Etude House: Rosy Tint Lips #03 & #04 [Review]

Hello there~!

I absolutely love lip tints! And I always buy them haha >w<!
so after reading some reviews, I decided to try the Etude House: Rosy Lip Tints!

using #3

left to right: #3 & #4 (Sweet Poison?)

#03
dotted, slightly spread, slightly padded

#04
dotted, slightly spread, slightly padded

Like all the other reviews I've read, the tube is VERY hard to squeeze which makes it a little frustrating to use, but I absolutely love the color and smell! I love anything that has a nice rose smell ^_^ also I like the direct application..as much as I like other liquid tints with wands, having a direct way to use is much more easier for me.
Another problem I had was the tube's sponge - it can easily collect a lot of bacteria so that made me a bit uneasy to buy the lip tint >< also when wiping off the lip tint as I usually do so it doesn't get on my food and utensils, the color is very light, almost unnoticeable on my lips TwT Also the matte finish somehow highlights the dry parts of my lips..so before application I have to put a colorless lip balm

But other than that I do like this product a lot, also there are nice colors to choose from :)

In Summary~

♡Likes♡
unique design
cute colors to choose from
matte finish
nice smell
easy to apply

Dislikes
hard to squeeze
highlights dry areas

Have you tried this product? What do you think about it?

If not, would you be willing to purchase it?

DIY Hair & Face Mask with Eggs !

Hello lovely~!
So in the past few weeks I was not taking care of my skin very well
((lots of junk food, no exercise, slept with makeup on, etc.)
so because of that my pores got pretty big! Also I started to breakout like crazy, so I've been trying to find natural & cheap ways to help my skin recover and well..be better ^_^

Through my searches to make my pores smaller and get rid of acne, I found Bubzbeauty's post about a DIY egg mask ^_^! and I love her beauty vids so I thought I'd give it a shot!

DIY Egg Mask

1 Egg, beaten until frothy
then apply to face until it dries ^_^
this process takes about 10-15 min

yeah my camera isn't that good...also my hands shake a lot when I try to take pictures >__< sorry!
but anyway, my skin was lighter and so smooth after use! Also since it's a natural mask, it's good for your skin - at least I hope it is! - I really love this and I think I'll be using at most once a week ^_^! Also I think it would be good to apply a lotion after !

And while I did the egg mask, I still had the yolk of the egg to use!

Yolks are great for hair and using for masks in general!
Eggs in general can help to strengthen and moisturize hair while the yolk, can help bind ingredients together so they can mix well together ~ also they have high sulfur content which may help with dandruff problems~ woohoo!

So for this mask I used
☆4 eggs (i have long hair)
☆4 tablespoons of olive oil
☆3 tablespoons of milk

let it set for 15-20 min, wash off with mild shampoo

Some tips for this mask:
☆apply on damp hair
☆when you wash, don't make the water too hot, this will cook the egg and you will not be happy

I noticed an immediate change to my hair!
My hair is very dry and damaged from a digi perm I did last year and also I recently dyed it so ..more damage to my hair - sorry hair >_<
but after the mask, my hair is so soft and it doesn't look as damaged as it looked before! A friend that has been constantly telling me to go to a salon for hair treatment said that my hair looked better!
So I really think that this hair mask is a great way to help your hair ...so maybe you don't have to go spend lots of money for a hair treatment that adds more chemicals right???? maybe ><

but i really like both these masks and highly recommend them!
((unless you're allergic to eggs then please don't ;-; ))

The Crazy New Years Sales at 109!

Aloha lovely person!
If you didn't know one of tokyo's bigger shopping malls, shibuya 109, has a HUGE sale in the beginning of the new year, most of the items are the previous years unsold clothing line..BUT they also have these special bags called 福袋 (fukubukuro) or lucky bags / happy bags. cute name right!
Oh and some stores can go up to 80% off! that's a lot!

7 days bargain sign in front of shibuya 109
1/2-1/8 2014 !

The sign for Liz Lisa's lucky bags

I was there for TWO hours! And went to my fave stores:
Liz Lisa, Emsexcite, Ingni, Cecil McBee, titty & co., etc~
but since as I said earlier, this sale is mostly to get rid of the previous years clothes that didn't sell well, a lot of the items I didn't really care for >__<! Also the lines were insane and every single store staff was yelling sooo much trying to attract customers I couldn't handle much TwT i know, i'm weak.

But I guess it was ok since I ended up buying 2 items: 2 sweaters since I only have 1 currently form H&M ((I'm from hawaii! I don't own much cute winter stuff!) TwT!
First Sweater from Ingni which I bought at HALF price! woohooo!
Still a bit expensive at about $20 but it was still half price ^^!
What the sweater looks like, I think it would look great with a white or black skirt!

Then the second sweater I bought from emsexcite, one of my favorite stores!
(I bought 2 of the same tops - different color - from them cus I loved the top haha!)

The sweater wasn't really on sale, I think I bought it for $15 but it was originally $17. Still a penny saved right?

Well all in all, even though it was completely chaotic and there was so much pushing and scary ladies, it was a fun experience - I'm not sure why - but I'd love to do it again next year!

Palty foam hair Dye - Milk Tea Brown [Review]

Hello there!
So since the year was ending I went into a small fit of
omg-the-year-is-ending-i-need-to-do-something
haha! so I decided to dye my hair brown (yeah not really daring...)
I already have naturally dark brown hair with highlights kindly provided by the sun, but I wanted a lighter brown color just to try out for a change ^_^
And since I LOVE Masuwaka Tsubasa, I decided to use Palty!

Front

Hair colors~!

I would say my hair color is the far left color in the heart ^_^
the one that's labeled 黒めの髪

before~
see? very dark brown hair with a few high lights here and there thanks to many, many years under Hawaii's sun..also I am in my thermals XD

What it comes with:
♡gloves♡
♡cup♡
♡spatula♡
♡activator water♡
♡dye♡
♡treatment oil♡

☆Instructions☆
☆shake the activator liquid (clear-ish bottle) about 20 times before use, then pour into the cup
☆next, pour in the dye (red tube)
☆ mix with spatula until it reaches the line
☆ after it reaches the line, apply to hair and wait for 20 min

well isn't that attractive =w=
lol! I was reading up on other reviews about this product and it seemed that many people weren't too happy with it. Some advice I can offer about this would be to leave it for maybe 25-30 min, or longer if you want to have lighter hair~. But for my experience I probably left the dye stuff in for about 25 min and i think it came out great! I really love it!

The only thing I didn't like about the product (like most other dyes) the smell was soooo strong, my roommate got mad at me and made me sit in the corner of the apartment TwT LOL. but of course, like any other dye type product, the smell was really strong and gave me a headache, bleh.

Anyway!
The results:

I think it came out quite nice!

Not sure if you can see the color >< it's hard to see in pictures maybe

Well, overall I'm quite pleased with the results! Also I reached 5,000 followers on google plus! so happy! ^__^ Thank you so very much !

I didn't really have anything that I didn't like about this product. Of course with any hair dye there is that strong smell and heat sensation >_< I love that this came with treatment oil ! And I really love how the color turned out! So for people that also want to use this product, follow the instructions carefully, but after applying to your hair leave for like 25-30 min ^__^ try that~!

Thanks for reading! have you also tried this product? How was it for you?
Let me know in the comments ^_^ ♡
