Banila Co. Prime Primer Hydrating [Review]

Aloha my lovelies~!

If you didn't already know, I absolutely LOVE the korean makeup brand, Banila co. 

It is on the pricier side, their BB cream price could be comparable to probably Smashbox, but the quality is definitely there, and I do not mind paying extra for the good quality!

Banila co.'s packaging is always similar to the "too faced" brand

no complaints, super cute I think! 

The thing I like about Banila co.'s products is that they smell sooooo good

a light floral/perfume type smell, not too strong  I think!

I know having scents in products makes it not too good for the skin, 

but I'd rather have a nice smelling product then will in turn make my face smell good..

as opposed to a product that will make my face smell bad haha

after 7 hours! I'm not joking, after a long day of being out; school, friends, hanging out, etc.
I had nothing to worry about ! I think the only thing that faded was my lip tint (Etude House Lip tint)

I've been using this product for a few weeks now, cost me almost $20 ?
but it's really great, as I said, I LOVE Banila Co. products, their cute/elegant packaging and
good quality products are definitely worth the costs!

I usually wear skin cream before I put on any makeup products to avoid them on my skin to protect my skin, but I need to let it dry up first before I put on the primer.

 I really like hydrating part of the primer too, I also tried their original primer, they smell quite similar!

Also this primer makes my skin so smooth and matte! and allows my makeup to go on easier! I really love it, no complaints yet :))

I would give this product

 I think this product would be great for this winter season since the air will become dry, but I can't see myself wearing it in other seasons ~

Etude House: Drawing Show Creamy Liner [Review]

Hello lovelies~!

Today I want to review the Etude House: Drawing Show Creamy Liner!

I have used this product for a long while now actually, and I looove it!

I think it was around $10-$15?? I forgot the price ><

but I think it is comparable to Maybelline's Eyestudio gel liner collection.

The liner I bought is 

#BK802

I really love that the product has a more dryer and I guess I would say matte look.

I tried Clinique's gel liner too and it was quite watery and sheen so it would come off easily :(

I really love matte type gel liners because they last through a lot and don't come off easily! 

so I always use gel liners that are like that, also they are very dark :) a big plus! 

The Etude liner is very similar to the Maybelline's Eyestudio gel liner..but they give a lot more!

Also I really love the brush that came with it! The brush has a cap so it becomes cute and compact, and putting it back in my bag is no problem, and I don't have to worry about the liner smudging on things it is not supposed to!

The only thing I don't really like about this product is that it doesn't last too long (maybe 2-4 hrs?) I don't really like re-applying makeup because I'm busy and don't really have the time to do touch-ups, also because I'm lazy (hehe), so I prefer products that last a super SUPER long time. I never had to touch up or re-apply for Maybelline's Eyestudio gel liner, but considering it's at least double the price here in Japan, I tend to stay away from it. So I think the Etude liner is good, for short occasions, or for people whom are used to re-applying and doing touch ups :) LOVE everything else about the liner tho!

Etude House: Dear Darling Tint #02 Real Red [Review]

Hello lovely readers~!  Today I want to do a review of Etude House's Dear Darling Tint

I was a little apprehensive about buying an Etude House tint since their first tint (I totally forgot the name lol)..the first tint was the cylinder bottle? yeah I didn't like that one because the color did not stay very well so it was a worthless buy imo. But since this was so cheap (500yen) I decided to try it out! 

That's what I really love about Etude House, the products are cheap, cute packaging, and decent quality! And I must say, I absolutely LOVE this tint! A warning tho, it does not work well with lip concealer..I tried but the tint ending up doing really weird things. Y'know when you try to write on glossy tape?? the ink gets weird..same thing happened when I tried to use this tint with lip concealer..!

-ok it has been 3 hours and WOW this is still on!!!-

considering i had my doubts about this product since their first lip tint wasn't so great (I had cherry because I oh so admire red lips!)....this was a great update to their lip tints!!! So happy I've had no problems with this! (besides the lip concealer part, but I don't wear lip concealer too often so no worries there haha). Considering red lips is IN this fall and winter season here in Japan, I plan to wear this as often as I can hehe and at only 500yen! This product deserves

Japan Dolly Wink Makeup Black Mascara II - 01 Long [Review]

Hey guys! It's been a while! (sorry)

But I have a review today about Japanese makeup brand Dolly Wink!

It is a makeup brand produced by famous gyaru model Tsubasa Masuwaka!

I normally do not buy makeup that is not waterproof...

but I love Tsubasa Masuwaka too much so I just HAD to have this haha!

It was a set purchase that included Dolly Wink 01 Long Mascara and a cute Liquid Eyeliner.

The selling point of the mascara (written on the package) is that it makes your lashes LONG

and it is easy to remove:) ! which is quite convenient !

The product was quite cheap in my opinion..which is another reason why I really like Dolly Wink

it's a good product and the price is not that bad! About $15-$16(usd) for eyeliner AND mascara!

the eyeliner is ok, it's pretty dark, but not too dark..

I really like the brush because of its fine tip and it goes on very smoothly

I don't always do the bottom lashes cus the mascaras I normally use make it too thick

but because the dolly wink one is so light, it coats every single lash lightly and perfectly

Top 6 Cheap Eats in Tokyo!

But today I want to share some restaurants that are cheap and I like to eat at in Tokyo!

(recommendations in no particular order) 

1. Nabezou

if you like meat&vegetables and japanese food

then this place is perfect!

for about 1980yen ($20) you can get an all you can eat (食べ放題/tabehoudai)

awesome experience! a little bit on the pricey side, but it's all you can eat for like an hour and a half. 

Depends on which course you choose, there are different courses, like the amount of time you want and the type of food you want. Nabezou is in a lot of places in tokyo, I think the best one is in shinjuku since its the cleanest and most organized one I've been too!

2. Fuunji(風雲児）

Fuunji is a great and cheap place for tsukemen!

Tsukemen is a japanese dish similar to ramen, but instead of the broth and noodles being in the same bowl, they are separated! Neat, right? haha! I only get one type of tsukemen from there (cost 950yen)

and its really yummy! The restaurant is like a food ticket machine where you put your money into the machine and press the button of the food you want! I am not sure if they can speak english but when you get a ticket you can choose between two sizes: nami-mori (regular) or oo-mori (big). Since they both cost the same price, I usually get the big one haha! It's always crowded, especially at dinner time, so it's best to go before 5pm!

Guts international is another cheap restaurant! If you like yakiniku....or lots of meat for cheap, then this is a good place. Usually it is quite crowded with quite a range of people who visit the restaurant, but it's definitely fun to experience the atmosphere of the place since it's quite opposite of tokyo's cold business world! Especially a great place in winter time too since it's so cold outside :)

We have one in Hawaii! If you like udon (thick noodles) and cheap prices, Marukame Udon is a really great place to try! It's really easy to order too! You just grab a tray, tell the chef which udon you want (and you get to watch them make it!) and then just follow the line :) you can also get drinks and later go to a separate counter for toppings for your noodles! I believe the restaurant is cash only tho! Most of the items can be served hot or cold, and are less than 500yen! Really great to try if you have the time!

In Shimokitazawa Station's 南口 ((minami guchi)) South Exit - follow the middle road straight down the hill, you can find this restaurant easily ^__^ If you look at the site provided, you can see lots of pics, and don't listen to that low rating! The restaurant is really great! I love their Pork Okonomiyaki which is usually made in the Hiroshima Style ((with noodles)) and it's super delicious! And the prices aren't too bad! Shimokitazawa is also a great place for cheap & second-hand shops ! A fun getaway from the busy tourist areas !

I first discovered this restaurant in Osaka when my friend told me to try. I've been in love ever since. Fried chicken is one of my favourite foods >w<! The single serving シングルサイズ　is abut 500 yen if I remember correctly? and if you cover it with the Original Sauce （オリジナルソース）it is super delicious! I've seen this stand in shibuya (near 109 and adidas), and shimokitazawa (at the end of the main street). It's really great if you want to eat but don't want to stop anywhere. I always get it if I want to keep walking around but am a little hungry ^__^!
