Etude House: Dear Darling Tint #02 Real Red [Review]

Hello lovely readers~!  Today I want to do a review of Etude House's Dear Darling Tint
I was a little apprehensive about buying an Etude House tint since their first tint (I totally forgot the name lol)..the first tint was the cylinder bottle? yeah I didn't like that one because the color did not stay very well so it was a worthless buy imo. But since this was so cheap (500yen) I decided to try it out!
That's what I really love about Etude House, the products are cheap, cute packaging, and decent quality! And I must say, I absolutely LOVE this tint! A warning tho, it does not work well with lip concealer..I tried but the tint ending up doing really weird things. Y'know when you try to write on glossy tape?? the ink gets weird..same thing happened when I tried to use this tint with lip concealer..!

-ok it has been 3 hours and WOW this is still on!!!-
happy happy >w<
Cute and simple as expected of Etude House<3

my lips nothing on them

the new wand is angled! so great!
just like the tony moly tints!
i think an angled brush is easier to use for lips
Etude House' first lip tint's wand was straight, cute but i didn't like it

one coat, just painted - super super red!

wiped of so we can see the staining power!

after 30min

considering i had my doubts about this product since their first lip tint wasn't so great (I had cherry because I oh so admire red lips!)....this was a great update to their lip tints!!! So happy I've had no problems with this! (besides the lip concealer part, but I don't wear lip concealer too often so no worries there haha). Considering red lips is IN this fall and winter season here in Japan, I plan to wear this as often as I can hehe and at only 500yen! This product deserves

As always, thank you so very much for reading~!

Japan Dolly Wink Makeup Black Mascara II - 01 Long [Review]

Hey guys! It's been a while! (sorry)
But I have a review today about Japanese makeup brand Dolly Wink!
It is a makeup brand produced by famous gyaru model Tsubasa Masuwaka!
I normally do not buy makeup that is not waterproof...
but I love Tsubasa Masuwaka too much so I just HAD to have this haha!
It was a set purchase that included Dolly Wink 01 Long Mascara and a cute Liquid Eyeliner.
The selling point of the mascara (written on the package) is that it makes your lashes LONG
and it is easy to remove:) ! which is quite convenient !
The product was quite cheap in my opinion..which is another reason why I really like Dolly Wink
it's a good product and the price is not that bad! About $15-$16(usd) for eyeliner AND mascara!
thats good!

Here is the eyeliner up close, cute packaging right!
also why i love dolly wink hehe

the top line is when i pressed lightly on my hand
the bottom line is when i pressed the eyeliner with more pressure

the eyeliner is ok, it's pretty dark, but not too dark..
I really like the brush because of its fine tip and it goes on very smoothly

Now on to the Mascara! super cute packaging right!
The mascara is supposed to
☆ last through sweat
☆ be removed easily
☆ keep your curl
Here is the brush up close! I like brushes like these because it is easy to get the bottom lashes too :)
I prefer the straight brush to any other brush actually..>w<

okay~~let's try the mascara&eyeliner!

no makeup

curled lashes (no mascara)

here is the eyeliner, i think its like any other type of liquid liner?
but the application is so smooth i love it!

adding in the mascara on the upper and lower lash line!
I don't always do the bottom lashes cus the mascaras I normally use make it too thick
but because the dolly wink one is so light, it coats every single lash lightly and perfectly
I really, really love it!

comparison!
left eye: no makeup
right eye: liner+mascara

can you see the difference >w< ?

overall I really like this product; the packaging and product itself is great so I would rate it

as much as i love this product, I think i can only wear it in winter time haha! I hope she can make a waterproof ver of this mascara cus I absolutely LOVE IT!

Top 6 Cheap Eats in Tokyo!

Hey guys! Kaysha here!
Sorry I've been away for a long time :(
But today I want to share some restaurants that are cheap and I like to eat at in Tokyo!
(recommendations in no particular order)

1. Nabezou

Likes
reasonable price
good food
great service

Dislikes
can be quite busy ><
if you like meat&vegetables and japanese food
then this place is perfect!
for about 1980yen ($20) you can get an all you can eat (食べ放題/tabehoudai)
awesome experience! a little bit on the pricey side, but it's all you can eat for like an hour and a half.
Depends on which course you choose, there are different courses, like the amount of time you want and the type of food you want. Nabezou is in a lot of places in tokyo, I think the best one is in shinjuku since its the cleanest and most organized one I've been too!

2. Fuunji(風雲児)
Site

Likes
cheap - under $10!
great service

Dislikes
everything is in Japanese
can be a pretty long wait depending on time

Fuunji is a great and cheap place for tsukemen!
Tsukemen is a japanese dish similar to ramen, but instead of the broth and noodles being in the same bowl, they are separated! Neat, right? haha! I only get one type of tsukemen from there (cost 950yen)
and its really yummy! The restaurant is like a food ticket machine where you put your money into the machine and press the button of the food you want! I am not sure if they can speak english but when you get a ticket you can choose between two sizes: nami-mori (regular) or oo-mori (big). Since they both cost the same price, I usually get the big one haha! It's always crowded, especially at dinner time, so it's best to go before 5pm!

3. Guts

Likes
good price
good atmosphere
great staff

Dislikes
quite busy - might need to reserve?
mostly Japanese menu
Guts international is another cheap restaurant! If you like yakiniku....or lots of meat for cheap, then this is a good place. Usually it is quite crowded with quite a range of people who visit the restaurant, but it's definitely fun to experience the atmosphere of the place since it's quite opposite of tokyo's cold business world! Especially a great place in winter time too since it's so cold outside :)

4. Marukame Udon

Likes
SUPER cheap
nice staff to help if you don't speak Japanese ^^

Dislikes
hard to get to if not familiar with area
cash only!
can be quite busy

We have one in Hawaii! If you like udon (thick noodles) and cheap prices, Marukame Udon is a really great place to try! It's really easy to order too! You just grab a tray, tell the chef which udon you want (and you get to watch them make it!) and then just follow the line :) you can also get drinks and later go to a separate counter for toppings for your noodles! I believe the restaurant is cash only tho! Most of the items can be served hot or cold, and are less than 500yen! Really great to try if you have the time!

5. だいこんまん ((Daikonman))
Info & Pics(Japanese)

Likes
pretty cheap!
cool interior
fun atmosphere
English Menu available!

Dislikes
stinky clothes after
can be loud
can get pretty crowded

In Shimokitazawa Station's 南口 ((minami guchi)) South Exit - follow the middle road straight down the hill, you can find this restaurant easily ^__^ If you look at the site provided, you can see lots of pics, and don't listen to that low rating! The restaurant is really great! I love their Pork Okonomiyaki which is usually made in the Hiroshima Style ((with noodles)) and it's super delicious! And the prices aren't too bad! Shimokitazawa is also a great place for cheap & second-hand shops ! A fun getaway from the busy tourist areas !

6. 金のとりから ((Kin no ToriKara)

Likes
Simple
Delicious
Fast
Reasonable Price

Dislikes
Nowhere to sit (it's only a stand)
Only in Japanese

I first discovered this restaurant in Osaka when my friend told me to try. I've been in love ever since. Fried chicken is one of my favourite foods >w<! The single serving シングルサイズ is abut 500 yen if I remember correctly? and if you cover it with the Original Sauce (オリジナルソース)it is super delicious! I've seen this stand in shibuya (near 109 and adidas), and shimokitazawa (at the end of the main street). It's really great if you want to eat but don't want to stop anywhere. I always get it if I want to keep walking around but am a little hungry ^__^!

Etude House: Christmas Miracle Nails! [Review]

Helloo~!~! so a week or so ago I did the Mint Frappe Nail review from etude house, well I was so happy about the outcome, I wanted to try another set of 3 colors from Etude :) so, in the spirit of christmas, I bought this! it was about 700yen which is pretty prices

so the silver and pink are for the tips
or well you can use it however you want but I used the silver and pink (the two on the left and middle) for the tips of my nails and the baby pink (the one on the right) for the bottom part

1 layer of the baby pink - so light!

after about 4 layers
SO PINK!

with silver :)

silverrr

with pink

the pink is actually very subtle and pretty much blends in with the baby pink for some reason!

this was super fun! i really love doing my nails :) I have gotten a lot more compliments for the silver tips than the pink tips though haha, I want to buy a sheer-ish white nail polish and have that with the silver tips, that would be nice wouldn't it?

well anyway, this was just like the Mint Frappe Nails, with the 3 steps which is pretty cool :) it was a lot of fun, what I really like is that there are so many possibilities for the kind of design and style you want to do, I don't think it was worth 700yen but I guess since it's christmas that's the only reason the price was so high :)

so all in all I really liked this ~!~!~!~! I hope to get another set..haha maybe....

Etude House: Juicy Gradation Nails: #4 Mint Frappe

Living in the fashion center of Japan is quite a challenging lifestyle! So many of the girls I see on the street are super dressed up, you would not expect them to be a university student, the look more like they are going on a date or going out to the mall, and because they look and dress so great I feel I have to do the same! SO i bought this lovely item from Etude House in Shinjuku Station :)!

The instructions are pretty straight forward - no matter what language the instructions are in haha! but nontheless this was super fun and can't wait to do it again :3

so nice they labeled everything :) 1,2,3

after about 4 coats of #1 !

after about 3 coats of #2 !

after about 3-4 coats of #3!

FIERCEEEE!!!

I guess it was sort of expected that this project would have to be a lot of layers >< ! not very healthy for the nails but this was pretty cheap around $4.00 :) so all in all it was a super fun project and I couldn't be happier with the result :) i've gotten so many compliments and I would love to try the other colors!

Packaging: 5/5
Price: 5/5
Result: 5/5

5/5 ^___^
